Product Review: Ayesha Tool Crock and Anolon Pizza Tools and Locking Tongs

The Ranting Chef does not get paid or receive any revenue from manufacturers or retailers of products reviewed. I occasionally receive products that I am asked to use and see what I think. I take a look, try them out and tell you all about them.

My wife and I have a battle in our kitchen. I am the primary cook and I like to have my tools and gadgets handy, preferably immediately available when I need them. This often means right there on the kitchen counter. My wife wants our kitchen to look nice… i.e. uncluttered. A nice solution came in the mail a few days ago.

This comes from Ayesha Curry. I’ve reviewed a few of her products before and was glad to see this one.

She sent me her latest, a Tool Crock.

This hand-glazed crock is durable and dishwasher safe.

It is 6″ tall (to easily hold your kitchen tools) and has a flared lip to make those tools easy to go in and out. With a French Vanilla color and a decorative pattern, it is pretty and practical. Time to put something new in it.

Anolon, one of my favorite companies, was timely by sending me two sets of their tools.

They sent their brand new 2 Piece Pizza Cutter and Server set and 2 Piece SureGrip Non-Stick Locking Tongs.

These stylish tongs lock when you pull the Anolon “A” at the top of the tongs. To unlock them, push down.

These tongs have high quality silicone grips and tips and are dishwasher safe.

Safe for all cookware surfaces, they are great for cooking…

and for serving.

The Pizza Cutter and Server Set have beautiful teak handles that have a contoured grip to make them easy to hold and use. The stainless steel heads are durable. Because of the teak, you should hand wash these tools.

Getting these tools was just the excuse I needed to make some homemade pizzas! The cutter easily sliced through the crust for an even cut the first time.

The server makes it easy to get that great food onto your plate.

I think both my wife and I win here. I get my tools at hand, and she gets a nice looking kitchen.

My Take: These new tools from Anolon and the beautiful Too Crock from Ayesha are great additions to not only my kitchen, but to yours as well. As we go into the holiday season, you may be looking for some small gifts for your loved ones. Check these out and you’ll make someone very happy!
