Product Review: Anolon Nouvelle Copper Luxe Covered Casserole

The Ranting Chef does not get paid or receive any revenue from manufacturers or retailers of products reviewed. I occasionally receive products that I am asked to use and see what I think. I take a look, try them out and tell you all about them.

Another box from Anolon?

Anolon sent me their 4 Quart Covered Casserole pot from their Nouvelle Copper Luxe line.

This beautifully designed pot is made of hard-anodized construction which is twice the hardness of stainless steel. This means it is in for the long haul and will be a fixture in your kitchen for a very long time.

While this is a non-stick pan, it is both dishwasher safe and ok to use with metal utensils.

The flat rivets on the handles make it easier to clean up and they hold the handles on securely. This is a pot with some heft, so you need this important feature.

The Nouvelle Copper Luxe line comes with a layer of copper sandwiched between two layers of heat conducting aluminum. This ensures a nice even heat and it transfers the heat very efficiently, allowing for a quicker to heat pan. The base is induction ready for those with an induction cooktop.

This is the perfect size for soup for the family.

With being oven safe up to 500 degrees, it is a perfect match for the name – casseroles! I made this chicken and rice dish on the stove and placed it in the hot oven to melt the cheese. So glad I could do it all in this one pot.

My Take: I love both the sturdiness and versatility of the Nouvelle Copper Luxe4 Quart Covered Casserole. Use it on the stove or in the oven. Silicone or metal cooking tools? Either is OK. Hand wash or dishwasher? Your choice. This product is impressive in both how it looks and how well it cooks. I’d heartily recommend it. You can find it a many major retailers in-store and online, including here.
