You spend time and energy solving a pesky problem only to have it turn up somewhere else. From the military, it can refer to pocket of insurgents popping up and causing trouble. For IT professionals it can be hackers trying different ways to break into their systems. What do you call that kind of situation? Whac-A-Mole!
Whac-A-Mole is an arcade game that was developed by Bob’s Space Racer where there are seven or more holes in the playing surface and at seemingly random intervals the head of a mole will pop out. Using the padded mallet attacked by chain to the game, you struck the mole on the top of its head, causing it to drop back down into the hole. As you progress through the game the moles will speed up and down and multiple moles will pop up at the same time.
I think this was the first (and maybe only) arcade game I cheated on. One place I played at as a pre-teen, you received tickets based on how well you did. As the tickets could be used to purchase prizes, the more tickets you accumulated, the better. I found that if I had a couple of friends and we each were responsible for only two or three holes a piece, we could max out our payout with each play.
Easy Guacamole
Luckily for me, this guac-a-mole’s flavor keeps popping up too.
Your basic set of guac ingredients. I added some cilantro to the ingredients listed below.
So easy to make fresh guac and so delicious!

I de-seed the tomato and squeeze the juice out of it.
Keep guacamole well-covered until serving.
If you want “pica” (heat) add a few diced pieces of serrano or jalapeno peppers, instead of the black pepper.
