Product Review: Ayesha Curry Porcelain Enamel Cookware

The Ranting Reviewer does not get paid or receive any revenue from manufacturers or retailers of products reviewed. I occasionally receive products that I am asked to use and see what I think. I take a look, try them out and tell you all about them.

Another big box arrived recently.

Something from Ayesha Curry? While we both share a love for cooking, our taste in basketball teams is a little different (sorry…..I live in Cleveland so I am a Cavs fan).

Inside was her 12 piece Porcelain Enamel Cookware Set.

Included in the set is 1 2 Qt. Covered Saucepan, 1 3 Qt. Covered Saute Pan, 1 8.5 Inch Skillet, 1 5.5 Qt. Covered Dutch Oven, 1 10 Inch Skillet, 1 1.5 Qt. Covered Saucepan, 4 Lids and 2 Wooden Spoons.

The cooking surface is non-stick and the diamond pattern allows for better browning and allows for cooked food to release from the pan very easily.

The double-riveted handles have a brushed stainless look and are comfortable in your hand.

Like to hang your pots and pans? These handles accommodate.

The set is available in Twilight Teal, Brown Sugar or Sienna Red. I love the red!

Time to put it to the test. The hamburger browned quickly, easily and slid right out of the pan.

The matches perfectly with this Mexican skillet.

The lids are made from shatter resistant glass.

These pans hold up to even hot oil!

The pots and pans are good up to 500 degrees and while they are not recommended for the dishwasher, they clean up very easily.

My Take: This is a great set of pots and pans. The well-made construction, classic colors and easy to clean non-stick surface make this an ideal set to have at home. In fact, I gave one set as a gift to my eldest son moving into his first apartment. Sorry Ayesha, he is also a Cavs fan, but loved the cookware! You can find the set in major stores and online here.

The lids and handles get hot! I had a cheap set that were better. Other than that, they cook great and are pretty but I wouldn’t buy again.

I love this cookware. However, I would make one suggestion that you provide a silicone sleeve for the handle as they do get hot. This is my second set of pots and pans and I would buy these again if need be.

I love the cookware, easy to clean, only problem is the handles get very hot. I would suggest that you use another material for the handles. .

I have now owned my pots and pans for over a year. It has held up so well I love it and would definitely buy it again. My original statement stands they need to include a silicone sleeve for the hot handles. Ayesha do you see these comments??
