Time for another review from the Ranting Reviewer.
A box came from Circulon.
Included was a 5 piece set of their Symmetry bakeware.
The five pieces are two 9-Inch Round Cake Pans, 9-Inch x 5-Inch Loaf Pan, 9-Inch x 13-Inch Rectangular Cake Pan, and 10-Inch x 15-Inch Cookie Pan. They are made with heavy gauge steel construction with durable, warp-resistant rolled-rim design.
One key design feature is the raised circles, coated with a non-stick surface. This helps to provide a more even baking experience and to help remove the baked good from the pan at the end.
This is the first bakeware set I’ve seen in a chocolate brown color and I can tell you it put chocolate on my brain. Time to start baking!
Let’s start with the cookie sheet. And chocolate!
Pretzel bark anyone? This recipe called for some parchment paper on the bottom. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of baking to come with the food directly on the pan.
A little toffee with the pretzels.
How about browning some garlic Texas toast? Nice even color on these slices. Being non-stick, these slices slid right off the pan.
Time for the loaf pan.
How about a healthier banana bread with whole wheat flour and less sugar?
These pans hold up to 450 degree oven temperatures.
Beautiful!
This is a “cake pan”, but I’m thinking brownies!
Salted caramel brownies! These were a breeze to remove from the pan.
Dual cake pans. I’m not much of a cake baker, but I had an idea.
Blueberry crumb coffee cake.
One to share and one all for me!
My Take: These sturdy pans from Circulon give you all you would need from a bakeware set. It is sturdy, non-stick, holds up to the heat, is easy to clean and looks great. I previously had a hodge-podge of cheap pans that I had picked up over the years. My old cookie sheets would twist in the heat of the oven. Not this one from Circulon. Anything baked in my old brownie pan would get stuck and would be impossible to get it out of the pan intact. The Circulon pan’s easy release and non-stick surface puts that problem in the past. It is time for you to replace your bakeware and when you do, you can find your next set here.
