Something new came this week!
Inside the box was a variety of Toastees ™, a delicious product from Almondina. You may remember that I have previously reviewed the Almondina cookies, and loved them. Available in three flavors, Cranberry Almond, Sesame Almond and Coconut Orange Almond, these thin crisps have no cholesterol, no added fat, salt, trans fats or preservatives and are dairy free.
On the left are the Sesame, the middle are the Coconut Orange and the right are the cranberry. These are delicious by themselves and only have 60-70 calories per serving (4 pieces).
I love them without anything on them (and they are oh, so addictive), but I decided to try a variety of toppings.

I added some raspberry preserves and a fresh raspberry to the Coconut Orange. The mix of the flavors was fantastic!
The Cranberry and a bit of hazelnut/chocolate spread is a combination that is pure decadence!
The next morning I added a few as some crunch to my greek yogurt.
My Take: The Almondina Toastees ™ are a great guilt-free snack. A quick couple of crisps gives you great flavor with little calories. A creative pairing with some toppings makes is simple to do and is a hit at any party.
