Product Review: LidLover Silicone Lids

The Ranting Chef does not get paid or receive any revenue from manufactures or retailers of products reviewed. I occasionally receive products that I am asked to use and see what I think. I take a look, try them out and tell you all about them.

How many times do you grab a bowl and cannot find a lid? So you either find another bowl or you try some ill-fitting plastic wrap or foil. There has to be a better way.

Luckily there is. LidLover to the rescue!

LidLover is made of BPA free food grade silicone like a number of silicone lids, but LidLover has something unique. More on that in a bit.

LidLover comes in variety of sizes designed for cans and bowls of all different sizes. The unique part is the concentric rings (which you can see above). This allows a single LidLover lid to fit a variety of different bowls. You no longer need many lids to fit each of your bowls.

The LidLover currently comes in melon green and is just coming out with blue, red and orange. Time to try it out.

English creme all made and waiting for some scones to come along. Until that time, I want to keep it cold in the fridge but this bowl never had a lid.

A huge bowl of strawberries the Ranting Wife and I picked one day.

LidLover has a large lid for that.

LidLover is microwave safe and can withstand oven temperatures of up to 400 degrees.

The small ones are perfect for when you don’t use all of a can.

My Take: There are a dozen different lids on the market (some of which you’ve seen here). The LidLover‘s concentric rings allows it to grip varying sized bowls easily. Because of that great feature you can get away with just a few LidLover lids instead of dozens of lids that might be currently filling your limited cabinet space. LidLover lids just plain work. Check them out here.
