Recipe Tabs Are Gone – Search for Recipes

One of the features of the blog for some time has been the tabs (menus) at the top that allow you to see all of the recipes on the blog by diet (low carb, kosher, etc…), cuisine (Italian, grilled, etc…) and main ingredient. Unfortunately those tabs have become unwieldly (the chicken section was huge) and were not used overly often.

When this blog had twenty recipes it was a good idea. Now with over 400 recipes (over 500 posts) and more being added on a daily basis, it is no longer a good way to organize.

Since they were manually maintained, it caused me to spend time on things that were providing less and less use. So I have removed them this morning. The Guest blogger and tools tab will remain though.

If you are wanting to look for recipes, there are two options. The Tag Cloud and Category drop-down on the right will get you to all items in a category. If you have a more specific search, please use the search box on the right. You can put in multiple search terms with just a space between them (chicken Italian) and will get what you might be looking for.

I hope to spend time putting together more compilation posts (Five casseroles for the fall, Oktoberfest food, etc…) that will highlight perviously presented recipes.

Thank you,

The Ranting Chef

I have to say you are an amazing chef, blogger and teacher and I have read most of your work and enjoyed each and every one of them. I may not be a chef but the same way in which you take organized each dish and talk about it with such passion and creativity, it tends to make a person (not only hungry) inspired to think with that same passion and creativity. Keep up the GREAT work Top Chef.

Unfortunately I cannot unsubscribe you. At the bottom of each email is a link “Manage blogs” or something like that. Click there and you can unsubscribe to any or all blogs that you had subscribed to.
